What does JA Cart Guard help protect against?

JA Cart Guard is designed to mitigate abusive Add to Cart and checkout activity, including bot-driven attempts and fake-order patterns. It does not guarantee that every fraudulent order or chargeback will be prevented.

Can I protect checkout without protecting Add to Cart?

Yes. The app offers merchant-selectable coverage for checkout only, or for both cart and checkout. Configure the mode that best suits your storefront.

Do I need Cloudflare Turnstile?

Turnstile human verification is included with Premium. Standard includes signed cart authorization and server-side validation without the Premium Turnstile feature.

Will genuine customers always be able to check out?

Protection depends on the rules you configure and the security decisions made. Restrictive rules can affect genuine shoppers, so review your country/IP settings and test your storefront after setup.
